About Us...
ULTRAmarathonRunning.com was created by Keith Godden in late 2008, just after finishing 56 very tough miles running from London to Brighton, taking him just over 14.5 hours. Since then he's got a little faster but not much! We aim to give ultra runners a central place to quickly find out, research and select suitable ultramarathon events they'd like to participate in, based predominantly on their current or preferred location where they'd like to race and other selection criteria such as the race distance and terrain type.
Proud to be the world's ultrarunning hub, ULTRAmarathonRunning.cm has become the most visited dedicated ultrarunning website on the internet, enjoying 260,000+ visits per month ( by ultrarunners, aspiring ultra runners and ultramarathon race directors / event organisers ) and growing rapidly every year. We are honoured that our shared resource is highly respected within the ultrarunning community and is further demonstrated by our growing Social network, now with 13,300+ Facebook followers and 9,900+ Twitter followers.
In 2012 we have begun offering promotion and advertising opportunities to ultramarathon race directors / event organisers and ultrarunning related product manufacturers as well as opening our sister ULTRAmarathonRunningStore.com site.
